The livery that was so popular, it became the team. This feels like a colour scheme that shouldn’t really work, but perhaps because the shade of blue is so unusual is the reason why it works. The addition of the green engine cover for BP sponsorship actually improves rather than damages it. It’s also one that, I think, conjures up fond memories of a particular era, as much as anything it does in its own right.
